The focus of the division’s activities is on civil amenities and residential construction, both in terms of new buildings and the reconstruction or modernisation of existing buildings. The division also has several project teams with experience in the construction of swimming pools, which are traditionally demanding in terms of quality, indoor environment and coordination of technology systems.

In addition, it is the division with the widest regional presence in the Czech Republic, operating in the Plzeň region, in addition to North and South Moravia.

It is a production unit with a wide range of activities in civil engineering. Some of its staff have the competences to perform contracts for national defence.

The division also includes a technologically advanced production facility for lightweight building envelopes located at its own production site in Nymburk.

Water management structures, civil and residential construction, buildings for health care—this is a cross-section of the production programme of this division, which operates in the South Bohemia and Vysočina regions.

The division includes a strong, technologically advanced reinforced concrete structures unit, which, in addition to its own reinforcement division, also has a rental outlet for formwork and scaffolding, as well as a carpentry shop for the production of complex atypical formwork systems.

The division’s wide production range includes construction projects for:

• civil amenities;
• healthcare;
• industry and the power sector;
• hot water pipelines, collector tunnels and product pipelines;
• small water management infrastructure;
• transport infrastructure;
• sport and leisure;
• reconstruction of heritage monuments;

and extensive services in the field of technological units, in particular high- and low-voltage. The division is also responsible for operations in the Ústí nad Labem and Liberec regions.

Division 8 is also specialised and certified to work at nuclear power plant sites.

It operates mainly in the field of civil engineering. In addition to its capabilities in the residential and civil buildings segment, it has several strong design teams to manage the reconstruction of historical and listed buildings.

The heritage restoration unit is also being carefully developed for this purpose, with highly qualified staff providing services in the field of restoration, reconditioning and the production of replicas of historical elements, as well as comprehensive accompanying services, such as historical, technical and restoration surveys of buildings and restoration plans. The restoration studio operating as a part of the unit offers a wide range of art and craft works.

Territorially, the division operates in the Karlovy Vary, Pardubice and Hradec Králové Regions.
