The conclusion of a Contract for Work is conditional upon the contractor proving its debt-free status. An annex with documents proving the contactor is not in arrears with the following payments is an integral part of the contract:

• social security insurance premiums and penalties, and contributions to the state employment policy;¹
• public health insurance—we require confirmation from all health insurance companies.²

The above documents must be no more than 3 months old before the date of conclusion of the contract.

¹ A certificate of no debt is issued by the Czech Social Security Administration upon request. You can use the online service on the ePortal of the Czech Social Security Administration to obtain the certificate. The procedure can be found HERE.

² Certificates of no debt are issued upon request by health insurance companies. A list of health insurance companies and forms is provided below.  These applications and how to send them can also be found on the websites of the individual insurance companies.
